Payroll giving

Counting moneyPayroll giving is a simple and tax effective way of donating to YWCA direct from your pay.

Regular donations help us plan our work and keep administration costs down.

Payroll donations are taken from your pay before tax is deducted. The Government then gives YWCA the tax it would otherwise have kept. This means that your gifts are worth even more to us and you pay less tax.

Setting up a payroll donation is easy. Just ask your employer (speak to your payroll or accounts department) to deduct regular charitable donations from your pay.

If your employer doesn’t offer a payroll giving scheme and you would like more information about setting one up email Louise Sprackling or call 01865 304242.

The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) runs a payroll giving scheme called Give As You Earn (GAYE).  To find out if your employer offers GAYE speak to your employer or visit CAF’s website.
